Clockwise and Counterclockwise
If you have a perfect ‘Pivot Axis and Swing Plane’ that is ‘On Path’, the ‘Sweet Spot’ does not waver very much. It is very stable when viewed either Body On (BO) or Down The Line (DTL). This perfection, if sustained, is more than gently demanding! Deemed to be ‘Difficult’?
What if we decide to make deliberately, progressively varying ‘Path and Plane’? That is quite satisfactory as long as you return to your ‘Impact Fix’ through the ‘Impact & Separation Zone’. Golf demands predictability and repeatability! Logically, if you can do ‘IT’ once, you can do ‘IT’ twice. A fleeting blessing?
If we make ‘Take-Away, Back & Up Lever Assembly Circles’ (including Brace Hand and Clubhead), they shall be ‘Clockwise’ when the owner is ‘Right-Handed’. Golf is logical! The Left-Handed owner will make ‘Counter-Clockwise Circles’.
If you are perfectly ‘On Path & Plane’ at the ‘Top Of Back Swing’ (TOB - smoothly Back & Up), you will likely be happy! Some golfers get ‘Above Plane’ and might require adjustment by ‘Shallowing Out’ or by ‘Laying The Clubhead and Shaft’ what is referred to as ‘Off’. Some golfers refer to this error as ‘Over The Top’ or Casting’. It subsequently involves an ‘Outside-In Path’ leading to a plethora of weak or unwanted outcomes.
Such capricious errors affect ‘Ball Flight Behaviour’. (see ‘Trajectory, Parabola and Curvature’ … ‘Initial Ball Flight Line’) Golf can become testy and frustrating!
Learning how to make controlled “Lever Assembly Circles” is more than worthwhile! It will help accomplish getting that ‘Sweet Spot’ back to your ‘Bottom Of Swing Arc’. (BOSA)(see ‘Impact Fix’. If you have not become aware and mastered this little bit of disciplinary magic, do so without delay!) ‘Simulate The Strike Components! Make The Strike’! A To B Golf Balls are a wonder to own! (see ‘Slow Motion Drills’)
Well done!
