We have ‘5 Alignment Axes’ that are ‘Primary Articulating Joint Oriented’ (PAJ). They are 1) Ankles, 2) Knees, 3) Hips, 4) Shoulders and 5) Ears. You will give this ‘Golf Teacher’ a little latitude herein, right? No ‘Ear Joints’ to date!

The ‘Primary Clubhead Path Controlling Axis’ is the Shoulders. A reason for this physiological reality is that the Shoulder Sockets are ‘Proximal’ or closest to the ‘Controlling Hands’. Those Ankles are some distance afar! (8 PAJs away - considerable moving parts to get errant)

If your axes are ‘Open To The Target Line’ for any reason, you still must swing along your Shoulder Axis. (Body Line) A quick glance at your Foot Line will serve as a guide for Set-Up adjustment. (see ‘Stance & Alignment’) Stance includes ‘Target Foot Flair and Width’. Your ‘Ground Stick will clarify ‘Alignment’. Use it to evaluate variables!

If you swing more Open or Closed (Across The Alignment Line or to your established axes), you shall likely impart ‘Cut Action’ (Side Spin on the North South Axis - X Axis). This causes ‘Curvature’ and invites ‘Pull & Push Action’, which affects your ‘Initial Ball Flight Delivery Line’. Avoid making your ‘Impact Zone’ actions becoming more complex. The ideal ‘Golf Swing’ is DOFT’ (Down, Out, Forward & Through) “Simple Rules The Game Of Golf”.

Golf is truly an ‘A To B’ ball and stick task! Remember “All Putts Are Dead Straight!” You can include ‘Chipping’ in this category as well! If you were unable to impart ‘Curvature’ on all your strikes, you could play any course, anywhere, in any conditions carding really decent numbers! Your cardinal flight fix is found in ‘Clubface Aim’ with a normal swing mechanics.
