Master Inching or Micro Stroke Length

As you are well aware, your ‘555 Team has created what we refer to as ‘The Progressive Golf System’. This synopsis is created to respond to ‘Global Queries’ in many flavours and dimensions … ‘From Micro To Macro’! This is how smart golf actually works - systematically!

The ‘Progressions are ‘Putting, Chipping, Bump & Run, Knock Down, Punch and Pitch, which is scientifically a ‘Stage 3 Full Swing’. (Wrist Cock Lever Action & Core or Pivot Action)

Keeping this facet as simple as possible, the ‘Transition’ is a point, sequence or segment in a golf swing wherein or during which we ‘Change Directions’. An example is reaching the Top Of Back Swing’ (TOB - Swing Sequence #5), stopping and then shifting human transmission gears into ‘Forward’! It is a busy, complex moment and event!

It is where our ‘Accumulate, Load & Store’ (ALS) changes its ‘Mission’ through ‘Zero Velocity’ and into the ‘Front Swing’ during which we ‘Deliver & Release Potential Energy’ (DR) into its Kinetic Form’! Just food for thought! (see ‘ALSDR’ - The Powerline Delivery Sequence’)

Especially in ‘Putting & Chipping’ (Short Game), what if we eliminated the ‘Sweeping Back & Up Swing’ and just started our ‘Front Swing’ from a ‘Pre-Selected Top Of Back Swing’ (TOB). This TOB is functionally our ‘Body Clocking “&” Point’. All procedures have a TOB!

We must ‘Set-Up For Success’. That means being sensible and efficient. The human body actually works in that manner! ‘Great Golf Strikes’ are amazingly simple and relatively easy! A key discipline is that we should not try to kill the golf ball, but to ‘Swing Through and Release It’. Strive to not become ‘Ball Bound’! When developing your ‘Swing Characteristics’, do so at ‘Less Than Full Speed’ and throttle. The most efficient manner to learn a ‘Movement or Motion’ is in ‘Slow Motion. A suggestion? Stand up and it is ‘Time For A Feel’.

See if you can embrace this golf mechanical truth? ‘During the entire golf swing, one end of the golf club is always pointing at the “Base Line Of The Plane (Target Line). Two Exceptions’ that you will already know! If not, ‘Just AskUs’!

During your Set-Up embrace the ‘Impact Components’ … as simply as you can make them. Once understood, transition to grasping ‘Impact Fix’. This is where and how one might make an efficient ‘Impact & Separation’ happen. It is a major ‘555 Golf’ process!

Many of us have families and other responsibilities outside of our primary business ventures. Some of us have active passions on the side. Are there enough hours and energy in the day? It is important to set boundaries that give us flexibility where and when needed. Golf is a ‘Home-Run Life-Long Leisure Activity’! Put ‘IT’ to good use!

One of our first priorities must be to our general health! Sleep? Nutrition? Hydration? Exercise for our balanced health and managed stress? Stretch and Strengthen (Range Of Motion - ROM )? If we do not run our lives, they shall run us … into the ground! When health fails it is a gravely abused and lost opportunity, often with no readily available recovery modality!

‘Negative Images’ spawn ‘Fear & Apprehension’.

If you are in the grip of remembering hitting your ball into the water (same hole yesterday), this powerful ‘Negative Image’ shall rule your psyche and physiology!

Your tension or fear energy will reproduce your ‘Mental Image’ into reality.

Is this ‘Logical? If the ‘Negative Image’ is your dominant or only image, it is ‘The Control’! Your remembering brain (Synapses Recall) shall press your ‘Replay Button’. If you have this ‘Yesterday’s Water Ball’ in mind, press the ‘Delete Button’. Embrace the truth and then ‘Delete It’. That is ‘Work Smart Protective’!

Expect to make and not to miss as small as possible via the ‘Get Lucky Method’! To do so you need a suitable ‘Putting & Chipping Mentality’. You must earn the right to “Believe!”

Your ‘555 Golf 8 Step Putting & Chipping Pre Shot Routine’ is your individual security blueprint. It absolutely enables you to ‘Set-Up For Success’!

How simple is this decision and process?

One properly organized and understood ‘Putt & Chip Drill’ may take only 20 to 30 minutes. If you do a ‘Bullet-Proof Short Game Drill’ three times a week, you shall improve and impress a lot of your golf mates!

Mr. Norman deliberately left an 8 to 12 inch gap between the ‘Ballistic Point Of His Ball’ (Bottom Inside Cheek - BIC - Red Dot) and the ‘Sweet Spot’. It enabled a big flat sweep and minimal ‘PUITA’ (Pick Up Inside Take-Away) This invited a big, consistent, controlled and functional, ‘Swing Circle’.

This already extensory gap prevented an acerbated and looping ‘Outside Take Away’. (see ‘Path & Plane Issues’) It accentuates the ‘Bottom Of Swing Arc’ (BOSA - Big Swing Circle and Extension). There is a lot of ‘Mechanical Advantage’ in these physiologies or configurations!

With this gap, the Brace Shoulder is already into the abbreviated ‘Back & Up Load, Coil, Turn’ … (see ALSDR - Accumulate, Load, Store, Deliver & Release’). It creates increased ‘Triceps, Brace Lever Extensor Action’ (BLEA) as well as some referred or cooperative ‘Knee Flex’.

Our ‘555 Team’ (that is YOU) knows what ‘Impact Fix’ is! This is the Pre-Shot Routine that simulates ‘Impact Component Positions’ but in a static form … not in motion! Getting all the ‘Impact Components’ in proper position. ‘Time For A Feel’! Stand up and establish ‘Impact Fix’! Try The Door Jamb Drill’. Place the leading edge of your #8 Iron against the base of a door jamb. Using you ‘LBM’, sweep – push Horizontal Pressure. Feel the Press, Press, Press.

When you have accomplished this very useful physicality, notice that your Brace Hand, Brace Medial Head Of The Femur and the Inside Of Your Brace Foot are each ‘Forward Pressed’ towards the ‘Target’. (see ‘Activated and Engaged’)

Importantly, when we are simply preparing to take a step slightly uphill, ‘Brace Foot Push’ is essential. The Back or Brace Foot provides the ‘Thrust’ while the Target Foot catches the entire forward-moving machine.

What ‘Two Heads’? Certainly, the one atop of our shoulders and neck! Good, respectful thoughts emanating from a ‘Steady Head #1’ are not optional, but mandatory. This first cranial reality is an ‘Essential Element’.

The ‘Head’ (controlled by ‘Ocular Acuity’) is the ‘Top of the Pivot Engine’. ‘Orbital Sweet-Spot Stability’ comes from this known place! Our Golf success and happiness stems from this ‘Steady Headedness’.

Think of our ‘555 Team’ mantra! “Chin & Chest Tallish”. One is well-served by creating space or clearance between the ‘Hips and Sternum’ … room around which the ‘Horizontal Core Spinal Engine Axis’ works!
